Bottle, 330 ml in Netherlands. Hazy orange with large white head. Malty, fruity, some ripe fruit, bit spicy. Sweet. Some bitterness in finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Clear dark blond to orange beer, very big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit fruity, stone fruit, pears, honey, pretty oxidized, orange peel, bit spicy. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: orange peel, soft acidity, oxidized malts, bit acidic, lemony, spicy notes. Aftertaste: some coriander, bit acidic, orange peel, soft bitterness, some almonds, a bit too old I guess.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een geel bier met een wit schuim. de geur is zoetig. De smaak is moutig en wat zoet. Best aardige tripel.

Huge white fluffy head stayed all the way on a hazy, finely effervescent, golden body. Zesty aroma with Belgian yeast & faint malt. Medium bodied, sharp & tingly on the palate with a dry clean finish. Yeast, banana, orange & citrus tastes with a chalky finish.

Flaska från Beergium. Ca två år gammal. En potent gyllene trippel med riktigt bra kropp. Gyllenfärgad, aningen fint sediment och högt gräddigt och bestående skum. Värmande alkohol, honung, säd, aningen fruktiga estrar möter en jästig beska uppbackad av syltade apelsinskal med en hel del vita kvar på skalen. Jag tänker Westmalle trippel och mycket bättre än så kan man inte sikta. Riktigt gott.

Une triple qui change des triples! Plutôt atypique dans le style et relativement houblonnée, cette slaapmutske est globalement agréable, sur des arômes orientés sur le fruit mais présente malheureusement quelques déséquilibres évidents qui lui portent réellement préjudices. En verre, notre bière est blond doré (EBC de 15), quasi limpide, avec une mousse blanche d’un centimètre et demi. Son effervescence est quant à elle moyenne. Le nez est soyeux avec des arômes de miel, de fruits (pomme, poire, pêche notamment) sur un fond de céréales. A contrario l’attaque est fraîche, aidée en cela par l’amertume du houblon ainsi qu’une petite touche d’acidité et s’oriente principalement sur les céréales. La deuxième bouche sur des arômes fruités (pomme, poire) et de biscuits est très agréable. L’arrière bouche, davantage sur l’alcool est des notes épicées, n’est cependant pas entièrement bien intégrée et modère ce plaisir. La troisième bouche se resserre sur l’amertume, avec une intensité ressentie supérieure aux classiques du genre (IBU de 31 avec dry hopping), avant un final d’une longueur juste acceptable présentant un alcool plus marqué. Ce dernier d’un titrage de 8,1 % n’est pas sur un équilibre parfait mais présente un belle progressivité. Le sucre quant à lui ne pose aucun problème, bien dosé. Une bonne bière donc, mais pas de quoi décrocher la lune!

75 cl. 2014 bottle. Beautiful semi hazy golden with a thick five finger white foam, dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Aroma is dark fruit, both un- and over ripened pear, honey, malty bready notes, slight fresh floral notes. Taste is sweet malty at first, soft mouth, bready and fruity, later a slight warming alcohol note, slight yeast and bitterness. Medium body, low carbo. Clean and well made.
