Twin Sails doesn't throw around the term "double dry-hopped" a lot. But this one is no joke.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of huge juicy notes of citrus and tropical notes is quite formidable. Taste is also a great mix of juicy hops notes of citrus and tropical notes with a side of mango with faint residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Another nice creation from TS.

Milky yellow body and little foam, sweet candied pineapple on the nose. Flavour is boozy sweet hops, crystallized alcohol and sugar. Like they should be smuggling this by intestinal condoms from central America or something to be snorted at parties in Miami circa 1983. Hey, bust out the track suit and silenced pistol - close your eyes and hope you don't remember this.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with white head. Light citrus, mild resinous hops, touch of alcohol. Decent enough, but doesn’t stand out in any way either.

On tap at Twin Sails, pours an opaque peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral hops, some dankness, plenty of yeast. Flavour is very muddy and yeasty, with dank hops, some floral notes and way too much filthy yeast. This is one of those haziest that just doesn't work for me - too yeasty, chalky, muddy. Pleasant enough if it were cleaned up a bit, but as is, this is a miss.

Draft - Intense orange and mango. Murky gold yellow with a decent white head. Soft orange, some pith and a touch of booze.

Can, Legacy. Muddy but at least there's a thick head. With three of my all-time favourite hops, I had high hopes for the aroma. It's big, but I'm thinking that's cryo citra, and the other ones aren't especially bright either. Big, yes, so it's massively hopped, but the overall effect is a bit muddled. On the palate, lots of apparent bitterness, a dash of alcohol. Resinous hops, and as usual from Twin Sails not a whole lot of malt character. Definitely on the yeasty side, more than the pinnacle examples of the style, anyway. It's not bad, not at all, but a little bit cleaner, and a fresher, brighter DDH signature, and this would have lived up to its potential a bit better.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Looks like orange juice with pulp. Aroma is tropical fruits with some grassy notes. Taste is similar, very juicy, moderately sweet, with some slight boozy notes. Good one.

Murky blond colour. I'm thinking of a quite typical NE DIPA, bold and sweet, juicy, but also with more bitterness than the average, strong character of orange peel and candied orange, and a bit of funk (both aroma and flavour) that sets this one apart from others.
Excellent.

Dank and juicy aroma, sweet flavour (classic for Twin Sails), a bit too muddy (the oats) which also gives some astringency and a bit of pithy bitterness; but the juicy hops are very nice, mango on top, concentrated pineapple syrup, then I get distracted again by the pithiness, touch of plums, smallest hint of lychee, and chewy finish.
Good but it's not the most enjoyable NE IPA.

Orange and dank aroma; chewy, quite sweet but expected, pungent hops with strong dank component, orange juice, orange peel, grapefruit, aggressive, I'm liking it more today than I did last week.

Murky blond colour, small frothy head. The aroma is moderately dank, some orange peel. The mouthfeel is very chewy, lots of oats; the hopping is fruity, but not the juiciest one around, citrus peel seems the dominant character, with some tropical juice but also pithy notes in the finish.
Good but rough, probably too young.

On tap. Pours an ugly thick opaque white yellow with little head. Aromas of orange juice and beer. Flavors of same. Creamy but otherwise no different from Twin sails other beers or many other hazy beers.
