Re-rate July 24th 2012. Bottle thanks to Joes. Dark red color, opaque, small off-white head. Smell malts, some hops, some alcohol. Taste malts, some sweet-bitterness, some alcohol, slight hint of hops. Medium carbo, medium body. [old score: 8-5-8-4-16=4.1 Been awhile since I rated this. Do remember I liked it very much though. Really nice dark color, might be my perfect color though you never know what you run into. Taste is fine, remember good carbonation for a 10.5ABV beer. Strong, but nice one to finish the evening.]

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Darkbrown color, large, dense, off-white head, stays quite long. Aroma is sweet, malty, sweet/dried fruit and some roast/coffee. Taste is sweet(ish) and bitter(ish) - less sweet than I expected. Alcohol warms the inside of the mouth. Finishes with more roast and rather bitter. Quite good actually.
