Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large foamy head with some retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with light bitterness notes perceptible is OK. Taste is a mix between some dominant residual sugar notes with some citrusy hops notes, subtle undertones with some bitterness notes offset by significant malt presence. Body is full with good carbonation. A bit too heavy for my taste and hops flavours are not as pronounced as I was hoping for.

Can from the brewery. Pours a slight hazed golden colour with an orange hue. The head is soapy, warm-coloured with good retention and some foamy lace. Lots of oranges in the smell with some light grassy hops and a caramel base. The taste has many citrus notes with again the grass being secondary. Some average bitterness in the finish. Kind of an easy-drinking IIPA.

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Cloudy golden color. Mild aroma of malt and orange. Lean mouthfeel, on the dry side; generic malt flavor, a touch of toffee, some resiny hop, mild bitter orange, and a shade of butter.
Decent beer, but as IIPA it’s sub-par.

Hazy, light amber. No head. Soapy, sharply bitter, with vague caramel. A bit alcoholic. The elements aren’t coming together, mostly because there isn’t much in the way of hop brightness, something that is necessary to pull this style of beer together.

355mL can, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of butter, light hop resins and toasted caramel. Flavour is herbal and buttery, with spicy hops and toasted bread. Not too disastrous, but this needs some serious fixing.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, piney, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, clover field, very nice. On tap at brewery.
