Hazy gold in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is citrus fruit and tropical fruit. Taste is citrus fruit, tropical fruit and pine resin wit a bitter finish but a really good beer.

Pint can, TWSP. Hazy gold with a white head. Cat piss, orange peel, pine nose. Orange and lemon zest, pineapple, green leaf. Quite tasty, surprrisingly!

Light gold pour. Unsweetened hops flavored with grass like palate. Easy carbonation

Lilly and orange nose. Clear gold, medium head. Lightly sweet honey, lilly, orange. Honeysuckle and varnish finish. Light and creamy body, easy carbonation. Not so in your face, but tasty with a lovely texture. Excellent choice if you need something g-free. Also a good choice if you don't, but want something quaffable with nice hop flavor.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of grainy malt, caramel, lemon peel, grapefruit, pine and light floral. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, caramel, lemon peel, orange, grapefruit and pine resin with a dry, bitter, spicy hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. This was surprisingly good. The best G-F beer I've ever tried. Could almost pass for a regular double ipa.

Dark amber. Chewy malts and cheesy hops. Fairly sweet, with lower apparent bitterness than the IPA. Some alcohol kicks in late.

Can - Light caramel and some citrus. Clearish gold with no head. Caramel and a citrus bite of bitterness. Not bad for a gluten free beer.

Ridiculously hazy copper and light amber coloured body with a bronze glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bright hops, a lot of alcohol, somehow even more earthiness and bitterness and the crazy amount of funky specialty grains and ’malt’. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich hops at first with more of an earthiness and funky toffee flavour with the fake grain note and a lot of alcohol and bitterness at the end, showing some of the hops. Aftertaste shows the odd grain flavour with a bit too much alcohol and pungency, but some decent notes, which were more than I expected - I thought this would be pure awful. Overall, a surprisingly drinkable beer, which would be probably good for folks who pretend to be gluten sensitive, but those people most likely aren’t heading to Montreal, aren’t trying to find beer and somehow even if they were, they are surely not looking for an Imperial IPA. That said, for the others, this is drinkable at best. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Au Coin Duluth in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$3,89 sampled at home in Washington on 22-October-2016.

Can: Poured a murky amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with light bitter hops notes with some light grainy notes. Taste is mostly dominated by fruity hops with light bitterness notes detectable and some grainy notes and light residual sugar notes also perceptible. Body is full with OK carbonation and no apparent alcohol. This one did not have the hops presence I was hoping for but still very pleasant and hides well some of the speciality grain used in this beer.
