330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April '19, courtesy of Mike. Pours dark ruby, frothy beige head. Encouraging dark treacle nose. Taste is smooth and rich, soft dark treacle providing the bulk of the flavour, great balance and drinkability. Lovely stuff.

At a tasting, smallish head, clear brown to very dark red color, aroma of stale bread, vanila and just a hint of barnyard with some caramel behind. caramel flavor with a hint of barnyard. Simple and disappointing.

Wethersoon Autumn Beer Festival 2017. Cask @ Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds. Dark-red and smoothish, it’s a strong winter warmer with dark fruits, a sweetness, and some mild spice.
