75cl bottle, shared with 77ships, Martinus and Tderoeck.

a very decent drink. Holds up super well as a regular Belgian strong but I wouldnt consider it among the better quads. Smells boozy and a little black current. Pours stagnant red. Tip of tongue feels sourness, a little bitter on follow through. Theres a lot of sweet note to float around as well. Bottle from consumer bevies niagara.

650 ml bottle. Pours reddish brown with light head. Aromas of malt and dark candied fruit. Sweet and acidic. Flavors of raisins, light brown sugar, and tobacco. Good base but a bit thin and needs better balance.

Cloudy reddish brown beer. Decent off white head. A little fruit on the nose. Softish semi dry palate. Soft malt with a subtle banana and bubblegum note. More obvious is a sweet fruity note, presumably from the dried plums. Segues seamlessly into a little spice and a touch of hop bitterness. Well joined up tasty quad.

De Vinos, DC 650ml ($5): Pours a mahogany color with a small head, which leaves some lacing. Aroma is heavy on the fruits, which is not surprising with the addition of the plums, and yeast. Taste is a little sweet. Body is a little chewy. Very minor hop bitterness. Nice finish that sort of brings all the flavours to a logical culmination. This is a good beer, but hardly is it an outstanding quad.
