Bottle - Sour and some funky notes with grains. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Sour and acidic notes. I wish the nose translated to the taste, but complexity is missing.

750 ml bottle shared by Chalumeaux. First pour gives me a crystal clear, thin bubbly head. Aroma is abundant in oak, light soured wheat, some mild old citrus hints.

The flavor shows me a lot of oak with light tannins. Maybe a mild elderberry note. The sourness does give a sharper pucker to my glands. Not massively sharp but has a kick. Bone dry texture. I don't hate it.

Hazy, light amber, little bit of head. Doesn’t really look that good. The aroma is nice - vaguely fruity. The tartness is strong, as usual, and the fruitiness is kind of generic. They have made better, but honestly, I like it.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry oak, lots of pithy notes, stone fruit skins, and light tartness. Flavour is very dry, with loads of oak, pithy stone fruits, medium tartness, with light-medium acidity on the finish. Nicely oaky, with subtle tartness and acidity that works well. Nothing exceptional, but it works.

Tasting at Matt’s; 4.9% ABV
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is wonderful, all I expect from a sour beer, it’s fruity and funky, it’s pungent, ass, olives; I get some young Lambic notes. Dry mouthfeel, astringent lemony character upfront, with some cellar cobwebs, funk, and very strong acidity, hence a Lambic character; juicy astringency in the final.
Wonderful.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is nice with a moderate acidity. Quite a bit of pineapple and lemon notes with some light stone fruit character. Hints of peppery phenolics. Quite a bit of oak notes. Light earthiness. Pours a rather clear, golden color with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic with a bit of a sharpness. Some light wheat notes. Moderate citrus and pineapple with some lighter tropical fruit and stone fruit skins. Moderate oak notes. Some light peppery phenolic notes and hints of earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice berliner. The acidity is a bit sharp, but the oak notes and age add some really nice complexity.
