On tap at Dageraad, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense oak barrels, roastsd malt, dark fruits and the suggestion of tartness. Flavour confirms the aforementioned, with quite intensely sour dark fruits, along with light roast and tons of oak. The oak and sourness end up dominating, while still preserving the heavily malty palate. It's certainly good, just not really my thing.

Dark brown. Has a tart, berryish, chocolatey character. Tart and very fruity, with dark sugars and a touch of chocolate, leading to a finish accented by alcohol. Not bad but not my thing.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of green oak, acidic coffee and smooth roasted malts. Flavours of same with some syrupy chocolate and cherries but overridden with an oily sourness. Interesting but not quite in sync.

Taster at Rouge Broadway durin QC 25 tap takeover event, shared with Brian. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is very nice with fruity and barrel notes. Similar taste with lots of fruitiness, sour and some barrel notes. Quite pleasant.

A deep dark porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, tart sweet cherry chocolate malt with light Brett, horse blanket, licorice notes, molasses, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with loads of dark cherry, light Brett, light lactic notes, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at La Cuvée d’hiver, 2017.
