Can from the lcbo. Pours a cloud yellow, with a large white head. Run of the mill citrus and pine, some lemon zest and hints of white grapefruit. Solid mouth feel, good carb. Pithy bitter finish, light soapiness, rounded out by pine resins.

Tasting at Matt's, can; 4.2% ABV
Hazy blond color. Upfront is resiny, a bit orangey. The mouthfeel is very dry, delicate base, but it has a very strong pithy, chicory bitterness in the final that is impossible to go past.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly harsh, with piney hops, metallic notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat metallic in the bitterness, with biscuity malt and bittering hops. Not very dialed in - bitter and some harsh off-notes. Meh.

Hazy, and this is light tan. Has an earthy, somewhat cheesy stale hop aroma with a little bit of fruitiness. Has a moderate bitterness, some sweet malts, and the hops are still a little cheesy but on the palate they are fruitier. Ok, still only a slight step up from the usual dull amber.

Not completely filtered, this one is light-golden colour with a big warm cap, good retention and foamy lacing. Beautiful fresh grassy hop aromas with hints of grapefruit. Flavours of zest and pines with some grainy background. Slick mouthfeel with some growing dryness in the finish. Gets really bitter. A very bitter, dry Session IPA. Well done.

A golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light, light treacle, very nice. In mouth, a nice crisp caramel malt with resinous floral hops, pine needles, grapefruit pulp, very nice. On tap at brewery.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy pale orange amber under a one finger lingering white head that leaves some nice lace. Nose is citrus (grapefruit dominant) , tropical fruit, light pine and bread as well as a touch of stone fruit. Flavour is a a light sweetness under an aggressive bitterness. Mouth is just a touch thin with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. It’s not clear from the packing how this relates to Flying monkeys but I hope this sticks around. 8/4/7+/3+/16-
