Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Shmupi. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of toast, nuts, caramel, light spiciness, a fruity note and some vegetables. Sweet flavor, caramelly, toasty, with cereals, a bit of paper, and a bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Negra opaca. Bajo amargor y final picante. Chapeaux.

33cl Bottle, bought in Paris, thanks Manon! Almost black colour, light-beige head. Aroma of aspartame, some dark fruits, hint of coffee/mocha, dusty. Flavour is very watery, some roasted malts, coffee, hint of mocha, chocolate, light-bitter finish. As said, even for the ABV this is very watery. Not a bad beer though.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 11/04/2016. Courtesy of and shared with Cécile.

’Buckwheat stout’ from Bretagne with light beige, creamy, thin but stable head and very dark, almost black colour with wine-red hue, clear. Grainy aroma with sourish buckwheat touch, creamy but thin mouthfeel, lightly sweet with soft roasted bitterness in the finish. Not too bad but something tells me using buckwheat in a stout could have lead to better results than this.

Piana szarawa i spora dosc trwala. Polecam
