Almost no head with an translucent amber body. The aroma features stewed apricots, sour fruit and funky brett yeast. A freshing combination sour fruit mash, apricots, green apples, honey and the brett yeast. Quite sweet with a smooth, slick mouth feel. The sourness and acidity keep it from getting cloying and syrupy. Well put together.

(375ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours slightly murky dull orange-gold with a small white head. Aroma of intense dried apricot and cooked/jammy apricot accented by leathery brett, some oak, vinous tannins, a bit of fruit skin and some tart lactic/sour tree fruit acidity. Flavour is moderately sweet and lightly tart up front with dried apricots and almost honeyed malt, light citrusy acidity, a little white wine vinegar, some bitter fruit peels, moderate oak tannins, light Brett funk but less funky than the nose. Finish is fairly dry with lots of lingering dried apricot and some oak, a little bite of lactic acid that wasn't so obvious earlier in the sip, and some tannin into the aftertaste. Light to medium slick body with smooth bottle-conditioned carbonation. A pleasant surprise with very nice apricot flavour and well-balanced acidity, quite drinkable actually.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light apricot notes with some floral undertones is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix between some apricot notes with light residual sugar notes and tart notes are also noticeable. Acidity level is also quite low. Body is about average with good carbonation. I love the fact that the tart notes are offset by some sweet apricot notes with provide additional depth.

Amber, bright, no head. The apricot comes over quite assertively, with a touch of heavy pale malts and the finishing with brett.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh apricots and a touch of wine barrels. Flavour is bright, with lots of fresh apricots upfront, with a touch of barrels. Very fruity, bringing out a wonderful apricot character. Very good.
