Can: Poured a cloudy pale yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention with some light lacing. Aroma of citrusy and tropical fruits notes with nice floral undertones is quite enticing. Taste is a nice balanced mix of citrusy notes with tropical fruits, some residual sugar notes and a light dry finish. Body is full with good carbonation. A solid IPA that I would like to have access to.

473 ml can. Pours a turbid white gold with moderate head. If it had been in a bottle I would not have bought it. There seems to be a theme about cans and ugly east coast IPAs... anyways... Aromas of thick pithy orange juice and wet malts. Flavours follow same, a little cleaner and brighter with bitter grapefruit, resin and wheaty malts.

Dull, ugly mud with only the thinnest head. Bright tropicals on the nose - like sweetened passion fruit, mango, and sweet orange. The nose is all hop. Starts with a bit of bitterness. moves to more of that bright hop, some lupulin powder and yeast. Definitely green, as is the Boombox way. Finishes with the same moderate bitterness. Greener and yeastier than the top examples of the style, not to mention the husky malts and assertive alcohol note. I appreciate the attempt to dazzle with hops, but the best IPA brewers nail the malts, exercise patience and dazzle with hops. There's quite a bit of room for improvement in the current output of Boombox, Wizard Mode no exception.

2017-06-12. On tap at Callister. Pours a murky golden with a white head. Aroma is very fruity with mango notes. Taste is similar, very juicy and slightly dry at the end. Very good.

2017-11-25. Tall can from the Dogwood shared with George. 1st batch. A bit better than it was at Callister. Nice.

On tap at Twin Sails, pours a cloudy plaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical stone fruits, considerable pith, some mango, and citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with truckloads of tropical stone fruits, mango, citrus and even a light tartness from it all. Lots of resinous and piney hops in there as well, with a very juicy body. Excellent.

2018-10-16, can from The Gull, courtesy of Chris, 7-3-8-5-16=39
Cloudy blond colour, not the usual murky, with stiff peaks. Mild hop aroma, compared to the usual Boombox offering, this one is less dank or juicy, and more grassy. It seems fairly sweet, but the mouthfeel is lean, and it's balanced by the moderate bitterness level; the hop character too is in balance between classic grassy hops and modern citrusy or dank hops, with notes of tropical fruit and caramelized pineapple.
East-West Coast IPA. Excellent.

Once more, side to side with Twin Sails Kicking in Speakers collaboration; strong , quite fruity, a bit too dirty, heavy; the hopping in the final is far from impressive. Good but not their best.

Murky orange yellow color. Fruity and cheesy aroma, strawberry and mango. The mouthfeel is a bit chalky, good malt base, moderately sweet, fruity and resiny hops.
It's a good hop juicy, a bit chaotic though.
