750 ml bottle purchased @ Phoenixville, PA. Brewpub location. The aroma is candid sugar, Belgian yeast, caramel, citrus and light clove. The flavor is slightly tangy with notes of clove, pears and candi sugar. Notes of honey or honey suckle flowers. Texture is sugary with a medium / full yeasty body. Alcohol presence but pretty well hidden considering the big 10.3 %. Overall this is a really nice Triple. And if you are outside of Philadelphia, well worth the trip to the brew pub. Recommended if you like this style.

750ml bottle generously shared by Anndiesel. Orange-tan with a smidge of haze, big foamy white head and steady active CO2 floating to the surface. True to style mouthfeel, effervescent and with big alcohol laced candi sugar and clove notes. A touch overwhelming, this is sort of brutal at times. A good beer, just too alcohol forward. They really nail it with the mouthfeel and aroma, but just lacks and subtlety or grace. Drinkable, but not one I’d seek out again.

Hazy amber beer, frothy white head. Light honey orange on the nose. Softish palate that is also pretty dry. Moderate carbonation. Spicy dry malt, well integrated with sweet honey orange. Finishes soft, dry and sweet with a hint of spice in the aftertaste. Hangs together quite well.

750ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear golden hue with a large white head. A rich phenolic nose with light sweet candy. The flavor is a nice smooth fruity Triple with loads of bananas, some clove and spices, mellow. Not too sweet or over the top as some tripels are. Good.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Mikkeller. There’s lots of microfloaties in suspension, else it’s clear and golden colored. A dense, finger thick off-white head tops it. Fruityness, white sugar and pale malts in the aroma. A bit lacking on complexity maybe, but really nice. The same goes for the flavor, where there’s peachy and orangey fruityness, white sugar and a nice bitterness that lasts for a long time. Nice carbonation level, rather dry on the palate, full-bodied and with a certain warmth. A really nice US style tripel. 110528

750 ml. Golden body. Frothy, white head, mostly diminishing. Fruity /malty aroma of pineapple, banana, toasted grain, citrus with notes of flowers and cobwebs. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter, It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, smooth texture, lively carbonation. Underneath the overly sweet flavor and aroma is a tripel. Not cloying by any means, just too much sweetness to let the other flavors shine. Some peppery alcohol notes in the finish.

Bottle. Clear amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, fruit, hops and notes of alcohol. Flavour is malt, yeast, sweet, spices, hops, little bitter, little citrus, little caramel, fruit and notes of alcohol.
