"Beer rivers and seas of beer the radio singing love songs as the phone remains silent and the walls stand straight up and down and beer is all there is" - Charles Bukowski
Inspired by Europe, we added milk sugar to a rich, imperial stout to make an enormously delicious milk stout. With coffee, chocolate and caramel notes you can enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert!

Ridiculously rich and opaque dark brown coloured body with an almost glossy black glow and a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall rich brown head that fades very quickly. Aroma of alcohol, vanilla, anise and a good deal of lactose, especially at the end, with only a sliver of malt body and support that it seems is present in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong, very rich grain shows through with a large anise and oatmeal flavour at first with some more lactose, a good deal of grain and some subdued alcohol noticeable with some dry grain coming through at the end. Aftertaste shows the more spicey and grainy malts with a lot of oats, earth and light spices, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and supportive earthy and milk-based stout with bunches of flavours and a nice/subdued complexity that is noticeable for a long time afterwards, as well. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Hy-Vee in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 04-October-2017 for US$8,49 sampled a bit more than two years later at home in Washington on 19-January-2020, a few hours before leaving for Omaha again.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color, hardly any head, just a thin beige collar. Aroma of roasted malt, surprisingly light. Medium body strength; moderately sweet, definitively that lactose is there, dark caramel flavor and light roasted malts; chocolate bar; hints of cold brewed coffee; lower tier of bitterness; some warming alcohol.
Good beer, but I’m sure they were aiming higher.

Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma has a bit of milk chocolate, a sort of burnt coffee. Fairly thick, but flavours aren’t meshing together all that well. It’s ok, might like it a bit stronger and maltier, actually.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is heavy on the lactose, followed by light coffee and a touch of roast. Flavour is very heavy on the lactose, with tons of the sugars without being cloying, with undertones of espresso and a touch of cocoa. Nice lactose bomb, with a chunky body and decent balance. Good stuff.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown/black with a dark tan head. Aroma is sort of chocolate caramel. Med + body. Flavor is sort of chocolate caramel, but there’s a really earthy aspect which for a moment brought bourbon to mind. Strange mind. It’s not all that undry, and it is somewhat bitter. Lactose can be detected. Can’t decide about coffee. It’s a pretty tasty brew.

Bomber. Pours a dark almost jet black color with a medium creamy brown head. A big milky roast nose. Sugary, cocoa, lactose, sweet caramel, light roast, hints of bigger dark fruit and roasted malts. Quite good. Lovely palate.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla notes, licorice touches, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. Cask Days 2016.
