Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of light apple notes with some oak notes and light Brett notes make for a confusing messy aroma. Taste is thinner then I was expecting with some watery notes with light apple notes with oak and some funky Brett notes. Body is light with OK carbonation. Messy mix of flavours and not overly enjoyable.

Bottle - Lychee and tons of stone fruit. Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Barrel notes and bitter with some stone fruit. Lots of raw oak.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a lovely floral hop quality upfront, with very subdued red wine barrels and a nice funky brett character further back. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued brett funk and perfumey floral hops. Not really getting any brett at all. Fairly underwhelming. Okay.

Hazy, has a nice vinous note, touch yeasty, so smells great. Not much on the palate. This has a hint of brett, and a sweet pale malt. Mellow character. The promise of the nose doesn’t manage to deliver on the palate.

Hazy blond color. Penetrating aroma, there’s a funk touch, there’s cedar peel, vanilla, white wine. Very dry mouthfeel, a bit too weak, oaked chardonnay character, and too much astringency and wood in the final.
More chaotic than complex. I liked the other Aldred more.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice complex sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light woody character, creamy character, light coconut, very nice and smooth. Bottle at IBU 2016.
