Clear amber under a large long lasting fluffy off-white head. Nose is predominantly Brett funk with a good dose of pine and tropical fruit. Light sweet caramel malt supports a big Brett tartness with an equal measure of citrus bitterness with grapefruit taking the fore and a more resinous character appearing in the long finish. Mouth is medium and oily with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. While the Brett is quite evident it does not overpower. 8/4-/7+/4/16

Cette version est ma préférée... Les oranges et fruits tropicaux dominent le nez. C’est très amer. L’alcool est plus présent que dans certaines autres versions quoique plus bas. Elle est subtile, complexe et bien faite.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out the brett upfront, followed by piney hops and some citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of brett and piney hops in great balance. Nicely crafted, not particularly well-crafted, but very tasty. Good stuff.

Slight haze, light amber. Thin head. Definitely some brett, with some earthy hops underneath and a fair bit of pale malt. Pale malt is fairly prominent, and then the brett comes over top. It’s thin enough from the brett, which lends this good balance. Good stuff.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some dry funky yeast notes also easily perceptible. Taste is a mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some dry funky yeast notes with some herbal notes also perceptible. Body si full with good carbonation. Nice mix between hops and Brett notes with good balance between flavours.
