Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy dull purple color. Strange aroma, stale, a bit fruity. Dry, corn flavor, a bit stale, not too bad.
Weird.

Bottle - Sweet cereal grains. Pinkish red with a small white head. Fruity Berry, bitter and a long cereal finish. Not great.

Purple. No head. The aroma has blackberries - that’s good - and then a bunch of stale dog poop. So like when the poo is crusted on the outside but still squishy on the inside. That sort of smell. Some butyric in there, too, just in case it was a guess. Tastes the same, not like I let it sit in my mouth any longer than it had to. Just awful. Utterly infected with stuff you never want to drink.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark pinkish purple with a small white head. Aroma is nasty, with gross vegetal and herbal notes. Flavour isn't quite as nasty, but still bad, with notes of corn, vegetal notes, and biscuity notes. Stale and vegetal on the finish. Revolting stuff.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep blue-ish color ale with a large off-white foamy head with light retention and some lacing. Aroma of residual sugar notes with some fruity hops notes is quite enticing. Taste is a refreshing mix of sweet corn notes with some floral fruity hops notes that re incredibly refreshing. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very refreshing beer with nice use of blue corn to make this beer a little bit special.
