Bottle from the LCBO. Cloudy pale yellow orange with a tiny head that disappears instantly.Nose is lime and orange zest with some grass and light spice. Flavour is lime tartness with a subtle salt background. Mouth is quite thin and the carbonation is quite low after being very active during the pour. Finish is dry. Interesting but not something I would drink regularly. 7/3-/7/3-/13

The first sip threw me for a loop, this is not your average brew. Cheers to Beau’s for that. Then I looked into what I was drinking, and it suddenly came into context. Its salt, which is very evident, and lime, make this beer savory. It dominates the malt which is a thin hay background. That zing really lingers. Interesting, beer, but not stellar. Worth a taste, but just the once.

Pours a cloudy light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, staying a little and leaving some mild creamy lacing. Malty aromas with some lime in the background. You can taste the salt with some decent citrus notes. Hints of yeast and malt in the finish. An interesting fruity brew. Will have to have one cold though to see its refreshingness.

A hazed blonde gruit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of spices, cloves, juniper, thyme, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light ginger, cloves, juniper, light mineral notes, light and smooth. Bottle at Cornwall Summer Beer fest 2016.
