When the autumn leaves begin to fall, then it’s time to savour Maneblusser Bok. This pale amber beer is brewed with 2 varieties of barley malt, wheat malt and oats. It is made with 3 types of hops and seasoned with curaçao. The result? A fine balance between bitter and sweet, with hints of ripe fruit. Just like autumn, it tastes mellow, full-bodied and heart-warming. Ideal after a brisk autumn walk!

4/II/2012 on tap @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2012-88) Thanks to Klaas for sharing his beer!
Pretty cloudy reddish brown beer, creamy beige head, bit stable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, bit vinous, red wine, sangria even, some citrus, ginger bread. MF: good carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet start, malty, very bready, some citrus, spices. Aftertaste: bitter finish, more spices, some rotten fruits in the end, spoiling it a bit.

Dark brown with a lasting off white head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, caramel and milk chocolate. Sweet and alcoholic flavour with caramel and fruit. The alcoholic sweetness gets cloying.
