Passchendaele is een blond bier van hoge gisting met een laag alcoholgehalte. Het bier dankt zijn pittige afdronk aan een mengeling van geselecteerde Belgische hop.
Passchendaele werd gelanceerd naar aanleiding van de 100e verjaardag van de Eerste Wereldoorlog en meer specifiek ter herdenking van de Slag bij Passendale in juli 1917. De brouwerij vraagt per flesje een minuut stilte ter nagedachtenis aan de gesneuvelden tijdens de Grote Oorlog. Een deel van de opbrengst wordt aan de gemeente Zonnebeke geschonken, om bij te dragen aan het onderhoud van haar oorlogsmonumenten

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity aroma has notes of yellow stone fruit, yellow berries, slightly strawy, yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly sweet grainy, fruity, notes of apple, apple purée, yellow stone fruit, minimally strawy, yeasty overtones.

Flaske delt med Willy på brygga: klar lys gylden, kort hvitt skum. Forsiktig humlearoma men mest malt. Lett syrlig humleprofil i smaken, som er slank og kort. En enkel pøseøl uten kropp eller personlighet.

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Spicy hops up front. Dry., light bodied, crisp mouthfeeel. Grassy and spicy. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle shared with McTapps & MichaelAwesome. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy aroma with notes of malt and paper. Mild citric hints. Rough aftertaste. More like a Helles. Drinkable but nothing special. Perhaps good for those in the trenches.

Golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet and malty ale with fruity notes. Easy drinkable but not very good. Boring beer.

Appearance- light brown/amber, not much of a head. Aroma- malty, hints of caramel and toffee. Taste- smooth, malty, some dark fruit hints, medium mouthfell, well balanced. Good overall.

500ml Flasche. Ins glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, belgische Hefe. Geschmack hefig, malzig, Gewürze, insgesamt aber zu schwach.

Clear blond beer with some very small sediment floating around under a small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of banana, fruity, sweet and sugary, more banana, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: banana, some citrus, littel bitter, very metallic, banana peel. Aftertaste: more metallic, yeasty, some banana, little bitter.
