Bottle shared by Brad, thanks! Dry, earthy aroma with dried plants. Flavor is much more sour than the zomer i had first. Sour flavor, but hops and malt are therenin the flavor too. Excellent but not ss good as a Zomer in oeak form.

Bottle bought at the brewery some years ago. Extreme sourish horse-blanket nose. The beer starts sour-fresh. Extreme sour tart dry body. Grainy with an intense dry sourness. Funky with lots of horse-blanket. Complex with sour fruity parts, smooth, sourish dry aftertaste with woody hints and fresh yeasty sourness. Very nice!

Bottle shared with Nelson at Akkurat on 11/29/16.
Very light-colored body and gushing with a white head atop. Clear.
Wow, what a nose. As I mentioned in my Winter review, what this lacks in the sheer unique complexity of the Winter (strange fruits, must, cellar, mineral), it close to makes up for in just pure, unadulterated, bright, lambic goodness. Brett and lactic acid are intensely vivacious here, with lemon, tangerine, lime juice and hugely soft minerality on the back end, bolstering the aroma.
In the mouth it’s just about as good, with a proper attenuation and carbonation and good pucker on the end. Apples, tangerines, lemons and lots of honey, with boisterous but not too intense lactic character, adding a good deal of sourness. I can see why this one is the favorite but I think I like the Winter just a bit more on account of its mysteries.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty golden color Lambic with a medium head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of funky barnyard notes with some tart notes also noticeable. Taste is a good mix of funky barnyard notes with some tart notes and light acidity also discernable. Body is full with good carbonation. Super easy to drink with good level of complexity and well balanced acidity level.

Corked and caged
Cloudy orange color, sparse bubbles rather than full head. Cobwebs and a hint of cheese, feet in the aroma, deep, rich; some bitter orange peel, properly aged Italian salame. Good body, astringency dominates, cedar peel flavor, some cobwebs.
Excellent.

Vollmundiger, zitronig säuerlicher Antrunk. Weiche Noten, etwas Getreide, erdig. Sehr süffig, die Säure fährt deutlich zurück. Komplex, mild fruchtig, intensiv. Langer Nachhall. Super! 12/13/14/14/12/14
