Bottle shared in London during the Cad's leaving do. Pours black-brown with a creamy khaki head. A little age in the snout, dry roast, baking cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with strong ashy bitterness, lots of strong baking cocoa, torched wood dryness, earth. Medium to full bodiednwith fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, dry and ashy, with more scorched earth and bittersweet cocoa. Solid, hard-edged impy.

Bottle. Extremely strong tasting, but that’s not really a shock. Takes a while to finish with a heavy spirit-like nose including dark malts - there’s some roasted malts, but not too many as its sweetness dominates away from the alcohol. Black with a thin head and a sticky texture.
