Bottle from the lcbo. Hazy, Cloudy straw colored pour, with a big white head. Aroma is funky, wet hay, good amount of malted wheat, and some grassy, slightly citrusy hop note. Great lively carb, effervescent mouth feel. Finish is tart and funky, with big grass and hay notes. Light barnyard flavours, slightly peppery, and a medium bitterness. Really good saison.

Picked up the bottle at the brewery, well two bottles as one of the brew crew there was soooo damn excited that they had this beer. So I got two, and happy I did. I smells of light hay, a little funk, and a little citrus. The taste is a smooth creamy malt with a bit of lemon, mildly sweet offset with a little funk bite that evens things out. The creamy malt lingers, but not as long at the funk. It’s nice, with a Farmageddon, Saison Du Tracteur thing. Nice summer sipper.

Farmhouse Series - small batch 2016. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a big frothy warm cap, very long lasting with patches of foam. Some sourness in the nose, but not sure this should be here. The rest is peppery notes, citrus and mild grass. Very active carbonation. The taste thankfully has no sourness. Some dry bitterness with a little grassy hops. Hints of fruits and yeast. Not the type of Saison I like, but quite a nice brew overall if you prefer the hop side of this style.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy pale yellow with a small white head that fades to a sheet rather quickly leaving only minimal lace. Nose is citrus and grass with lemon peel, banana and a slight pepper. Flavour is a light+ citrus tartness and a very light sweetness along with hints of spice. Mouth is medium- and crisp with prickly carbonation. 7+/3/7/4-/14

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a nice large off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of peppery yeast notes with dry rye malt notes is pretty pleasant. Taste is a great mix of peppery yeast notes with dry rye malt and some rustic malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice mix of rye malt with loads of character from the yeast strain.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet honey malt with light incense, cloves, esters, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light honey, frankincense, light curacao, coriander, interesting and pleasing. Cask Days 2015.
