Draft - Light soapy notes with a touch of lemon. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Light peel and citrus with a touch of yeast and bitterness. Just meh, but drinkable.

On tap at Bar Volo. This saison is a very nice clear gold with a sour tart belgian aroma. The taste is spicy, lightly tart-candyish saison yeast notes with a touch of brett metallic quality.

Pint at the Loon. Not much head. Hazy golden-amber. Fruity nose with caramel malts. Same fruity taste with hints of peach and apples. Beautiful hops well blended. Goes down nicely but not sure of the saison style.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with peach, cloves, esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity saison with oily mouth, citrus and cloves, curacao, very classic and refreshing. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Enjoyed on tap at Thirsty & Miserable in Toronto, ON. Appearance is a very cloudy and bright gold with a rich white head. Aroma is dry with light spice, clove. Taste is nice and dry, light floral and champagne notes. Nice stuff.

(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto, June 2012) Poured what appeared on a dark patio to be a hazy slightly orangish gold with a thin white head. Nose of grass, coriander, lemon, yeasty funk, pepper, faintly piney hops. Palate is yeasty funkiness, lemon zest, grainy malt, never particularly sweet to start and drying off more at the end with grassy hops, coriander and a mildly spicy, peppery finish. Fairly heavy body but still fairly lean and astringent; lots of fairly soft carbonation. A decent hopped saison but a lot of elements that just don’t quite knit together into a cohesive whole.

This is pretty funky for a saison. Pours cloudy amber, a little lacing. Smells funky, there some fermented fruit that rides this brew all the way through. Like drunk plums or something. The bitterness at the end is slight, mixed with a run of alcohol. This is a odd beer, maybe even partly contaminated but its not all bad after a bunch of boring saisons. This doesnt remind me of most saisons though. On tap at volos
