Poured from 500mL bottle (2017 release - #lot 2016-71 - ABV listed as 6.4%). Clear reddish brown with minimal off-white head. Light tart balsamic, mild raspberry, with a touch of brett. Finish is a little weak, but I may have held onto this bottle for too long before cracking it open. Decent overall.

660ml bottle (thx, Alex L.!) at Matt's. Vintage 2016. Pours a hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with barrel and raspberry notes. Similar taste. Very nice and pleasant.

Hazy amber-brown. Thin head. Pulls a lot of cherry, bright, light wood. On the palate, this isn't as good, and ends up thin, a bit harsh. Still a decent amount of fruit. I wish it had followed through on the nice cherry.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of fresh raspberries upfront, with light-to-moderate brett funk and a touch of balsamic. Flavour is more faded, with tart raspberries, light brett, and pithy fruit skins. Light balsamic, tart fruity, and brett.

En fut à la brasserie. Aromes: Beaucoup de boisé et de fruits noirs dans le style pruneaux. L’aspect vinaigré ressort également beaucoup. Au goût on y perçoit des tons orangés, un peu de boisé mais beaucoup moins qu’en olfactif. L’acidité domine des tons de fruits aux notes de pruneaux, de fraise, de framboise et d’orange. On dirait presque des notes d’orangeade. Bonne complexité en bouche. Texture mince. J’aurais aimé retrouver le boisé de l’olfactif en bouche. Mais bon, quand même très acceptable.

A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, loads of cherry drops, light lactic notes, cherry donut cream, cherry drops, beautiful and pleasant. In mouth, a tart sweet cherry malt with loads of fruity acidity, cherries, alcohol warmth, grapeskin, very nice and complex. On tap at Sherbrooke St location.

Draft - Sweet cherry and some cognac barrel notes. Clear copper with a small head. Cherry, wood and some nice malts. Well balanced nice.
