Bottled. Golden-orange with a huge, off-white head and lots of floaties. Looks delicious. The aroma has lots of citrus in it, some yeast and a fruity sweetness. In the mouth, it is fruity, refreshing, light spicy and with some yeast-notes. It has a full body, nice sweetness and a dry, bitter finish. (060513)

Bottle, thanks to secret santa Nat
Amber, champagne carbonation, big fluffy amber head. Citrus and peach, light nut aroma. Fruity, a hint yeast, light butterscotch, exits quite fast, light pearling mouthfeel.

Bottled, my 150th Belgium rating (BB 05/2009)
Amber color, huge creamy orange head, lace. Nose is malty, ashy and fruity. Sweetish malty, bock-like palate with lemon and coriander notes. Alcohol is clearly present there. Dry woody aftertaste. This is quite simple but balanced and drinkable.

Orange-amber, bit hazy; good creamy, off-white head. Loads of coriander, (fennel?) - even if it claims nothing of the kind on the label - just a bit of cookie malt, and some aroma hops. Tast is primarily cookie and roasted malts, again a lot of coriander. It’s sweet, but I don’t trace the candi sugar. Medium-bodied, a bit too much roasted burning effect in the mouthfeel. After some time, the coriander impression leaves. But in the mean time, one wonders if they meant to brew a witbier, but added the wrong malts...

[I believe this is the one I had - at ZBF 2004 it was called Ultra Ambree] The color is hazy light brown and it has a fine though collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty. And the flavor i sweet malty with notes of yeast and coriander. The alcohol runs prickling over the tongue before a dry hoppy end sets in.

Beautiful amber color; giant creamy head; fine perlage, plentiful; beautiful lace.
Nice malt aroma, slightly fruity, honey.
Good body strngth, malty, well balanced, with a nice aromatic final. Just a light note of medicine, quickly disappearing; spicy.
Not original, but really a solid one.
