650 ml bottle. Pour a very dark brown with little head. Aromas of chocolate malts, dark berries, and powdery wood. Flavors of dark tart juice, chocolate, powdery roasted malts and a hint of vinous barrel. Where’s the bourbon? Nice for a sour dark.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of funk, earthy brett, and light roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with a good mix of brett funk, earthy notes, and light roast. I don't get even a hint of bourbon or sourness (other than the funk). Odd, but very nice.

Dark brown. Not much head. Roasty, has a little bit of tart funkiness on the nose. Not that much barrel in evidence. Soft but thin, sweet but thin...Ok that thinness is not helping it out much. But in terms of complexity I think it’s nice roast, dark fruits and barrelly dryness.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with nice smooth bourbon notes and light fruity yeasty notes. Taste is an easily drinkable mix of nice smooth bourbon notes with light sweet black chocolate notes and some fruity notes esters. Body is about average with creamy texture and good carbonation. Less tart then expected with more complexity and great drinkability.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, ground cherries, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, oily mouth feel, nice and complex. On tap at BTP’s Carnival 2016.

Tasting at Ferris’
Black color, compact beige head. Nice aroma, dark bread, fire oven baked, cookies, ashes. Smooth mouthfeel; it has a mild coffee flavor and some gentle sourness, incredibly the two blend together pretty well.
Very nice beer.

Bottle - Funky, light soured dark roast malts. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Chocolate, cocoa, light roast and a pleasant sourness. Balanced and very nicely done. Huge fan.
