Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Black color, with a thin brownish head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt and coffee, deep, penetrating. The mouthfeel is dry, with a very strong roasted malt and coffee flavor; the bitterness is quite high; there is some acidity from the dark malts, some liquorice, and a lot of roastiness in the final.
Quite monodimensional, but well brewed.

On tap @ Mikkeller, København. Pours pith black, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is coffee and caramel. Flavour is burned malt, coffee and liquorice. The malty tones sticks through the finish, with a pleasant burned character.

Tap @ Beer Temple (from notes): Black color. Beige, soapy head.. Aroma’s of coffee, bitter chocolate, some acidity and something weird that hard to describe.... Flavor is medium bitter, lightly sweet. Medium body. Finishes with a firm bitterness. Nice coffee kick. Yummie.

On tap at Bier Temple, Amsterdam. Opaque black beer, small tan head. Quite a light palate, fairly dry with fine carbonation. Rich coffee, not bitter. A little lacto creamy sweetness. Minerals. Good hop in the backend. Dark chocolate. Some roast and hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Well joined up and something of a cracker.

Keg at CPK, London, thanks to Thomas. Pours murky black, oily with a small, tan head. Lots of cocoa, light yeast, dark chocolate on the nose. Light sweet flavor, tons of mocha, filter coffee, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, tons of baking cocoa, slight wood, some earthy bitterness. Solid beer.
