Sattes Gold im Glas, Schaum passt. Herrlich würzig in der Nase, im Trunk ebenso, crispy, herb, Malz, etwas scharf auf der Zunge, leicht bitter spät im Abgang.

7-5-7-4-14 Bottle, L0314, eight months before bbd. Pours clear pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with bread, hay and honey, as well as zesty hops with citrus and floral notes. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is malts with white bread, hay and honey, as well as floral hops with grass, citrus and zesty minerals. Lingering zesty bitter finish. Very quaffable.

Das Glas wird von schönem goldgelb gefüllt. Feine Kohlensäure steigt auf. Feinporiger bis fast cremiger weißer, mäßig haltbarer Schaum krönt das Glas. In der Nase angenehm malzig, spelzig-getreidig - wie frisch gedroschenes Korn. Dazu ein leicht fruchtig süßlicher Hall. Der sehr frische getreidige Antrunk erinnert sofort wieder an frisches Korn. Der Körper gestaltet sich wahnsinnig vollmundig und regelrecht wuchtig, leicht süßlich, wunderbar malzig getreidig und angenehm rezent. Ein leicht florales aromatisches Hopfenaroma klingt dabei auch an. Absolut ausgewogen und harmonisch! Der Abgang folgt aromatisch genau dem, was man auch bis dahin geboten bekommen hat. Süßlich malzig und getreidig, ein Hauch von Honig/Nektar. Etwas später setzt sich ein blumiger bis leicht grün-grasiger sehr aromatischer Hopfenton durch, der aber nach wie vor von einer süßlich-getreidigen Malznote umspielt wird. Mein Fazit: Das Ayinger Jahrhundert Bier hat alles was ein Bier dieses Stils braucht. Absolut rund - vom Anfang bis zum Schluss eine saubere und vor allem wahnsinnig leckere Sache. Man kann keinen Makel, keinen Fehler erkennen. Die Rohstoffe scheinen perfekt zu sein. Was diesen Bierstil betrifft, ist es eines der besten, wenn nicht sogar das beste überhaupt! Anmerkung zum Schluss: So gut dieses Bier aus der Flasche ist... Aus dem Holzfass ist es nochmal um mindestens eine Klasse besser!!

0.5 bottle. I thought it was an average beer as a dortmunder. Very clear, foam is not beautiful. On the other hand, it is a much more aroma than expected, much more full-bodied, great, "sweet yet hops, flawless" typical German light lager. Nice. I hope we will meet again.

Átlag sörnek gondoltam dortmunderként. Nagyon világos, hab sem szép. Viszont a vártnál jóval illatosabb, jóval testesebb, remek, "édeskés de mégis komlós, hibátlan " tipikus német világos láger. Nice. Remélem még találkozunk.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Which is where I’ll be headed tomorrow, for more of this. Clear straw colour. Decently firm, lasting and semi lacing, bright white head. Looks well. Nose has sweaty yeast. Sweaty grain. Touch of sulphur. Runny honey. Trace of grassy hop. Taste has an upfront sweetness, with well balanced, grassy hop bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Feels fairly full bodied. Fine, natural feeling carbonation. Soft bitter linger. Great bier.

Fles geprobeerd bij Bram. Het heeft een helder goudgele kleur met een medium witte schuimkraag. De geur is moutig en wat hoppig. De smaak is moutig, grassig en wat bitter.
