Poured from 650mL bottle. Orangey yellow with off white head. Caramel malt and pine hops. Earthy and light, a little watery.

Bottle - Grapefruit and light citrus peel. Clear orange gold with a rich white head. Bitter peel and some backend citrus peel. Very bitter which overwhelms the taste.

Draft @ Alibi and in bottle. Medium amber, a little chewy malt and orchard fruit...taste is like that, but about a million tomes chewier. Too chewy. Yeah, some melon left but not altogether coherent.

On tap. Pours Amber with moderate foamy head. Aromas of toasted malts, light pine, citrus and something like seaweed. Flavors of resin, grassy hops, light toffee, and pine. Seems a bit of an odd mix of hops.

2014-09-28, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Light amber color, clean, with small head. The aroma has some fruity hops and a light earthy touch. The mouthfeel is rather dry, some caramel flavor, with earthy character, strong bitterness, resiny final. Good, but missing a stronger fruity character.

2014-06-07, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 7-3-6-3-13=32
Hazy deep blond color with small head. Light aroma of hops and straws, grain bag. The mouthfeel is off-dry, it doesn’t seem to be very Imperial; the flavor profile is too simple, some grains; expected bitterness, some dusty hops and hop resins, not much fruitiness.
Below expectations.

On tap at the Alibi Room for Camrapalooza 2014, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, floral notes, and dry zesty biscuity malt. Flavour is a bit jumbled, with piney hops, herbal notes, and some dry biscuity malt. Very lightly flavoured for a IIPA and drinks pretty easily, but is missing some oomph. Good, but lacking.
