pissy, highly carbonated and very astringent aftertaste. Smells of sickening ly sweet maple syrup and looks like lager with food colouring. Has some malt sense.

Originally rated August 2007. Purchased on my last trip to Toronto. Pours a clean dark amber colour with a foamy beige head that leaves decent lacing, and a nice coat on the brew. Very well carbonated. The nose is pretty hoppy with small malt undertones. Watery mouthfeel with a little stickiness to it. The taste is not as pronounced as I would of expected, but the hop is clearly present with a some malt that is refreshing like apples and caramel. Very light though. An average amber ale, laking a bit of punch for a micro.

This amber poured a crystal clear, deep amber colour with a creamy off white head. Decent lacing. Originally rated in 2004 and I thought very good of it. Scents include light vinegar at first, little brown sugar, hint of apple and ethanol? First swig was thin, quite malty with other flavours of nuts and hay? Finish is malty. Not near as good as originally stated.
