Balance is what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.

Znakomite piwo, niepasteryzowane i chyba niefiltrowane. Mętne w kolorze rudym. Wytrawne i w smaku bardzo chmielowe, aromatyczne odmiany chmielu wbijają się w nozdrza.

0.355l bottle. This one has a amber-brown clear body under a small and heavy lacing off-white head. It smells malty with fruity caramel and some stingy alcohol as well. A somewhat thin and near watery mouthfeel with a nice small prickling average carbonation level. Light malty and malt-burned in flavor. Ripe peaches, red currants and some underlying nuts also present in the taste, but feel that it's somewhat dominated by burned caramel. A little bit of watery alcohol in the aftertaste. Good tasting amber, almost there. 08.08.2012

Draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Boy this was overly infected, apparently it was fine the day before, but this one had just a touch of sourness going on. Ambrée, col beige. Arôme malté, caramel léger, pointe lactique, Palais présente cette même note aigre légère, le tout reste léger et malté avec en retrait un ajout houblonné citronné pour un fin restant léger en amertume.

15 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft // thx to ajax25g // a darker shade of brown amber with a beige head // smell carries forth American hops, fruity hops, inkling, promises of bitterness, mixed caramel malts, caramel goodness // taste is caramel malt sweetness mixed with exotic fruits hops & bitter pine hops, small touch floral, fruity, maybe hint berries // lovely sweetness, nice complimentary touch hops with full-on, overkill attempts (not that I don’t love those as well) // hops, carry their imprint on body, medium bodied // American hop presence makes me think of an IPA, amber ale is anyway such a vague category // quite delicious // apparently well-priced & ever present where this comes from, it seems like more than a good deal
