wow, and i thought bud light was pretty pale in color, this really gives it a run for its money! The aroma is sweet and corny, and also smacks of cooked veggies, and wet hay. The flavor is ust awful, its a sweet corny cheap mess. This is bad stuff. this is macro lager territory.

Smells like a bit of - dare I say saaz? A little skunky too. Pours golden pale, no head, no lacing. Taste isn’t exactly crisp, but that’s just something I say to describe beers I don’t like anyway. In any case this isn’t even that. It’s drinkable, a little better than a lager, and cheap. Points for the latter. Bottle at Saving Gigi’s.

Sample from can at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and malt. Light body with flavors of grainy malt and yeast and a hint of hops. The finish is short and malty. Below average overall.

Originally reviewed in 2007, but now, I got another bottle in one of those Ontario Brewer tester 6-pack. Pours a golden colour with a slight haziness to it. Decent carbonation with a small white head, not much retention, but a little lacing. Nice grainy biscuit and sweet malt scent. The mouthfeel is much better than before, being refreshing because it is not as thick. The taste is quite mild though with cereal malt. The grain used in this one reminds me of the grain used in the Steam Whistle pilsner, but SW is much better with more hops and taste overall. After breathing a bit, I smell notes of pears. Not a bad easy-drinking Canadian-made pilsner, but nothing too exciting.

Thihs pils poured a light yellow colour with a big brite white foamy head. To the nose there was scents of corn, light vinegar scent and yeast. First sip was nicely carbonated but a little thin on the palate. First taste to come along was corn and it lingered for quite a while. Very watery beer lacking in flavour. The palate had this creamed corn flavour that other than, there was nothing.

Super clear golden coloured body with a medium-sized soapy white head. Aroma of a bit of fruits, some hops and a fair amount of wheat. Light-bodied; Sweet initial taste with some hops and wheat also noticeable. Aftertaste mild and citrusey, showing just about nothing. Overall, a decent beer-nothing going on at all. I bought this 65 cL bottle at the LCBO on Queen’s Quay in Toronto, Canada and sampled it on 26-May-2004.
