Smells of soft banana and pineapple, has cloudy yellow body with minimal foam. Flavour is nice banana, bubble gum, soft pineapple. Mouthfeel is full and chewy. This is nice, a little artificial but so much better than the other bland offerings I've been trying from them. --- Beer merged from original tick of tr on 09 Aug 2020 at 21:12 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Foggy yellow body and modest foam, strong sweet pineapple on the nose and some nice mellow wheat dough. There's good lineaplple pie character herez lots of sugar, more vague wheat notes. Still it's rather fake, but that might not matter much on a hot summer day.

A golden weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light pineapples, OK. In mouth, sweet banana bread with light pineapples, light oxidation, boring. Bottle from lcbo, 2015.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a small, short lived, off white head. Fruity aroma with tart pineapple, bubble gum, wheat, yeast and clove. Sweet pineapple flavour with banana, wheat, yeast, clove and a mildly dry, citrus finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Different and refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a light hazy orangey color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aromas of wheat malt with some notes of pineapple are quite singular. Taste is also a mix between some sweet wheat malt notes with some pineapple juice which more or less works well together. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not sure what to make of this experiment but probably won’t seek again.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy pale yellow with white head. Citrus hop aroma and yeast. Mild hops, citrus, pineapple, yeast. Little finish.

Limited Edition bomber at the LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden-orange colour with a big off-white head that stays a long time and leaves great thick-creamy lacing. Mild sweet aromas of pineapples cover up the hefe banana wheat notes with some decent yeast as the backbone. The taste is milder with not as much sweetness as expected from the nose. Hints of wheat and yeast again. Quite a interesting combo of the pineapples and the hefeweizen. Not too worry, not too sweet, so good for summer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy orange amber pour with a big white head that leaves great lace. Nose is dominated by pineapple with some grain, banana and cloves. Light sweet malt start with tart pineapple in the middle and end with light spice appearing in the finish. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation. A little more balance for the pineapple would be good.

Cloudy, yellow. Abundant pineapple, has a mellow wheat character, clean and balanced, it’s actually quite good.

Draft - Wheat and over ripe pineapple. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Wheat and a fruity sweetness. The pineapple is there, but I wouldn't be able to identify it if I didn't know. Sweet summer beer.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Murky blond color. Fresh aroma, fruity, delicate, pineapple tart. Dry mouthfeel, poor flavor, empty wheat beer with a touch of pineapple.
Not an offensive beer, but quite weak and purposeless.
