Hot on the heels of the beer we made in Sweden comes our return collaboration with Hazy IPA masters Stigbergets of Gothenburg. Our friend, Stigbergets lead brewer (and Huddersfield ex-pat) Oli joined us for another juicy and hazy brew. In addition to our house malt the beer uses lots of Oats for a soft mouthfeel and some Rye to add body. The hopping features a combination of CTZ, Simcoe, Mosaic and Vic Secret for layers of fruit goodness, and the London Fog yeast gives a slightly sweet finish and ‘pop’ like drinkability.

500 ml. can. BBF 09/06/19. Hazy orange but not necessary NEIPA haze with nicely lacing white head, uneven white head. Nose is massive overripe sweet stone fruit, orange, overripe mandarin faint hop funk. Taste is low bitter with massive overripe stone fruit and orange with mandarin, grapefruit peel. Not necessary very classic NEIPA more like a East Coast & NEIPA blend in a way more classic overripe fruit forward. Thick but not necessarily classic hazy. Tasty and very solid as expected from Magic Rock, lovely.

Can. RAD Beer. Fully hazy, deep orange gold. Thin, dense, lacing, lasting, bright white head. Nose has ripened citrus. Candied peel. Floral herb. Touch of pine. Some berry fruits. Taste is juicy and sweet, with a pithy, oily, candied peel bitterness. Medium body. Slick and oily. Low carbonation. Light, lingering bitterness to finish. Very nice joose.
