Definitely one of the milder pumpkin ales, but very drinkable and tasty. Nutmeg, raisins, lavender and cloves all make the scene with a nice maple touch of sweetness. To the back porch to watch the leaves fall.

Very very mild pumpkin ale, just the way I like them. Hints of nutmeg, and cinnamon and some pie crust. Semi sweet malts, malt base tastes like a malty marzen. Some nice grassy notes, and a good carb. Overall a very subtle pumpkin ale, doesn’t crack you over the head with bag of spice.

Pours a clean deep amber colour with a warm frothy cap, good retention and lacing. Munich and caramel malt scent. The taste is Munich malts with very light hops. If I did not know this was a pumpkin beer, would think this was a Munich German brew as the spices are not very apparent. Just a good malty ale.

650 ml bottle. Amber orange color, no head. Bottle is nearly a year old. Aroma is candied yams during American Thanksgiving. Maple syrup. Flavor has that same maple sweetness with the yum base. I don’t get pumpkin, more sweet potato. Thin body with a slight slight film over the tongue. Honestly, for a 10 month old pumpkin brew its not bad.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours orange copper with an off-white head. Standard pie spice aroma, perhaps with extra ginger. Med body. Flavor is pie spice. Not sure about extra ginger, but maybe. Finishes less than dry and piely spicy. Ok for the style.

Bottle - Very spicy on the nose, lots of nutmeg. Clear amber with a decent bubbly beige head. Lots of nutmeg and bread, which tastes just like pumpkin pie. A little over carbonated, but very easy drinking for what are usually ales you get sick of very quick.

Okay clear amber body with some average head on top that disappears quickly. Aroma of grass and coriander. Taste is smooth with hints of possibly pumpkin but really just some indistinct spicy vegetable notes. Dry finish. Decent and drinkable, in the middle of the pack somewhere.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color; creamy head. Without surprise, there is a light cinnamon aroma and flavor; the body is weaker than most pumpkin beers. Low bitterness, with a light minty final touch. Drinkable but useless to me.
