Draft. Amber with a big whitish head. Low malt aroma with some low english hops. Lighter bodied and easy drinking. Nice balanced flavors with some sweet caramel backing.

This did not live up to its hype. The dirt brown brew had no head, but gave off strong cascade notes. The body was slightly sour, but hops presence is definitely felt. The finish is mildly bitter, but the beer lack depth to become great in my opinion.

From hand-pump on location. Red-brown, creamy head with lace. Slight fruit (strawberries) and nut taste. Creamy mothfeel. Earthy aftertaste.

Sparkling amber, lasting tan head. Fresh hop nose.Fruity malt palate that is too faintly hopped for ESB

Dark amber colour. Some leafy hop in the nose with light toasty malt notes. Light leafy notes and sweet caramel in the creamy body. Good, but somewhat limited. This beer used to be one of the finest beers in Canada, and an exemplary rendition of the style. The leafy hop notes were more pronounced then - fantastically refreshing and the malt were as juicy as any I’ve ever tasted. It’s slipped.
