Draft - Raspberry and light malts, a bit jammy. Light clear amber with a thin head. Malty raspberries, again tastes like jam as it smells. Not bad, but just not a fan.

Decently done for style - in the sense that it meets the average standards of a fruit beer. Tastes a bit sour like raspberry but who cares really. Pours reddish clear. Finishes a little sour. On tap at brewpub - thankfully my odyssey here is over.

Has a very nice ruby-red body and a good pillow of antique white head. The aroma is all kriek-style fruity syrup, not in the league of Cantillon but more in the league of Lindeman’s.... so what did I give a Lindeman’s Kriek? Oh, probably a six. I’ll assume it’s a six for aroma. The flavour is an odd mix of berry flavours that are muted by some odd cloying detergent crap that is just totally dragging the experience down, man. Somethin’s just off in this one, and it’s a shame - I was hoping to experience at least a British Columbian version of a mass-produced Belgian Kriek, but instead got a fruity mess that is just all over the place. I’ll still finish my 650ml bottle, though.

Pours pink/amber with a light white head. Aroma of strong raspberries. Flavour is sour, alcoholic raspberries, with alcohol on the finish. Not my thing.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy red-amber color. Anonymous beer, with a bitterness from the fruits, no sweetness, no fruity notes (besides some aroma); quite overy bitter at the end, for a fruit beer. Not very good.

tap at the brewpub - Pours dark reddish-amber with a thin head and a strong raspberry aroma. The flavor is fairly light and led by sweet raspberry with some caramel maltiness alongside in a slightly too thin body. The finish has some mild alcohol flavor. Not bad.

Dark amber with slight reddish hue. Strong raspberry aroma. Light body with hints of dark malt underneath a predominantly fruit-syrupy flavour. There is a slight malt chewiness in the finish that salvages things somewhat, but I’m not into it.
