This brew is a psycho-topic trip with boat loads of mosaic hops, famous for their tropical fruit punch to the palate. You’ll find flavours of guava and sweet citrus with subtle IPA bitterness. Once upon a time the mighty Kaleidoscope was a formidable seasonal bomber release here at Phillips, as well as a staff favourite. Medium bodied, grain-forward with a hint of crystal malt. Double dry-hopped with 100% Mosaic hop. This brew is dynamic, well-rounded, and symmetrically balanced no matter how you spin it.

Slightly hazy, light amber, thin head. All honeydew and cantaloupe, mosaic-style, Very fresh crunchy, yummy, malt taste is actually what stands out first. Decent bitterness, almost pithy, and moving into those melony hops. Finishes with great balance between fresh, fruity melon hops and the best malt character I’ve ever experienced in a Phillips beer. Really good, but it got really chewy as it warmed.

Hazy golden color with small creamy head. Pleasant IPA, but it plays too much with cereals character, present in aroma and flavor; the hopping is quite resiny, lightly fruity and minimally musky, but Mosaic can deliver more. Rather dry.

Cloudy deep blond color with medium sized compact head, persistent; nice lace. The Mosaic comes through rather pungent, but not as much as Nelson Sauvin, for example; lean and smooth mouthfeel; well bitter, without excess; light toffee note behind the lean malt backbone; fruity enough (tropical fruits, cedar, light pineapple…).
Fresh. Excellent.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of pink grapefruit, pine and rubber. Flavors of tropical fruit, pine, and resin. More than "subtle" bitterness - it’s initially quite sharp, with lingering resiny notes.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of mango and tropical hops is quite nice and refreshing. Taste is also dominated by mango and peach notes with tropical fruit notes overtaking most of the flavour profile. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice showing of NZ tropical hops with light sweet malt backbone.
