750ml bottle. Clear golden pour, small white head. Cereal malt nose, grains and an odd mealy, sugariness. Body is smooth. Carb soft. The finish is very sweet, notes of maple and burnt sugar and more sweet cereals. There is nothing belgian about this beer.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, mix of sweet maple syrup and Belgian herbs, powdery. In mouth, sweet cloying maple with fruit and apple sauce, some nuttyness, a bit unbalanced. BB June 15 2013 (so 1 day past BBD). 750 ml bottle from LCBO.

Bottle - Orange, maple and some fruit. Very odd and sweet nose that I have trouble placing. Clear gold foamy head that recedes quickly. Sweet and candy like with a tiny bit of sour/bitterness at the end. Not good

(bottle) clear golden yellow with a small white head; aromas of candy, flowers; balanced flavour with light sour finish; simple but tasty

Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a medium head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of maple syrup and grainy cereal is not the great mix. Taste is also dominated by woody maple syrup notes which kind of clash with the grainy cereal notes with lightly sweet undertones. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not the most pleasant beer with multiple flavours which don’t balance each other.

Not sure about the Belgian Blonde Ale part, but definitely spring maple. Very maple, with maple syrup from Ontario. Pours a clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, average retention and decent lace. Big maple syrup nose with burnt sugars, butterscotch, caramel and cereal malts. The taste is sweet, but not overpowering, with hints of apricots, mild hops and roasted malts. The Belgian Ale yeast shows up in the finish with mild maple sweetness aftertaste. A pretty interesting brew with the maple syrup that actually is there, and not subtle like most maple beers.
