Bouteille 600ml.

Slightly hoppy nose with floral accents. Typical IPA aroma but very light and subtle. Appearance: Clear copper / brown with creamy long lasting head; sticking and lacing to glass marvelously. Taste: Attack is very well balanced between malt and hops. Caramel and toffee are the main flavors with floral and grassy notes. Finish is very long lasting and all bitterness. A very well balanced traditional IPA. Typical of the style.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light dry floral hops with semi-sweet caramel malt notes. Taste is a mix between some light floral and somewhat dry hops notes with a semi-sweet caramel malt backbone. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation. Lacking some hops punch and body is a bit too thin for the style IMO but still enjoyable nonetheless.

High malty smell with a little hops. A little character that gives it points over an average ipa but a little light on bitterness. On tap at volos

Canada: Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is weak and dominated mostly by malt. Taste is forgetable. The so-called citrus hops infusion barely does anything for it. The English malt profile is not particularly exciting either. The body is what it is. I was bored by this beer and drank it as quickly as possible to move onto my next beer. This beer is kind of mEh. Oh yeah and it’s organice, but I don’t really think I care.

Nice... a seasonal spring Beau’s that comes in singles at the LCBO. Brown bottle with a tag that is printed on recycled paper and tied with a string that farmers use to tie the hay together. A little story of the Castor river is written on the tag. This river is the river I use to play at all my upbringing. Pours an amber colour with a big frothy off-white head that has good retention and leaves a bit of lacing. Fruity grapefruit nose with notes of pine needles. The taste is a nice mild hoppy start with some caramel malt showing up in the finish and then the bitterness becoming more intense in the aftertaste. A nice blend of the English and American IPA which is not a punch-in-the-face bitter brew but one that is above the mid-IPAs out there.

A golden amber ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, a nice lightly floral hops, oranges, caramel malt. In mouth, a good malt base with nice floral hops, with developing grapefruit notes. Medium bodied. One of the best Beau’s offering. On tap at Black Tomato, May 2009. 7-4-7-3-14
Dry Hopped with Summit: A clear dark amber ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light herbal hops. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with oily mouthfeel, nutty notes, light coffee notes, roasted, faint grassy hops, not bad. Cask at Wellington Gastropub, May 1 2012. 8-3-7-3-13
