aroma of light caramel, and a minute hint of grapefruit. The body is quite watery, and the carb is very low. the finish is more of the light caramel, with just to say a hint of pithy grapefruit, and a touch of sweetness.

Draft @ Red Racer. Amber and hazy. Really big grapefruit - not the most authentic, but bright. Bit yeasty, and a bit too much malt, but pleasant.

On tap at Nita Lake Lodge, pours a cloudy dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out sweet grapefruit, like they added lots of citrus zest and sweetened it up. Flavour matches accordingly, with grapefruit zest and a sweet juicy quality. Not a beer of elegance but it's easy to drink. Decent.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, light amber colour with a short lived, medium white head. Sweet flavour of grapefruit with some caramel, malt and hops. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

This ale poured a cloudy, medium yellow colour with a quickly dissipating, bright white head. Scents include citrus hops, grapefruit juice, bread and light vanilla. First sip was smooth with a medium body and a malty start with light flavours of grapefruit and light caramel. Finish is grapefruit wise bitter with the grapefruit juice flavor lingering.

From the LCBO, in the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6-pack. Pours a hazy amber colour with a warm soapy head, average retention and minimal lacing. Grainy aromas of a blonde ale malt with the grapefruit zest (becomes orange-like with time) in the background well-blended with the hop. Caramel malt taste with subtle grapefruit notes and light bitterness. Not so much a fruit beer, but a real amber ale with hints of the fruit. Might appeal more to those who do not like fruit beers.

341 ml bottle. Pours a pink/orange with large head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of orange/grapefruit fruit juice. Flavors of melon and flat grapefruit juice with a bit of smokiness. A cooler, not a beer. But an OK summer pounder...

Bottle - Marmalade on toast and not in a good way. Cloudy orange with no head. Tastes like marmalade as well, there is no reason to drink marmalade.
