Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malts, caramel, dried dark fruits, raisins, yeast, plum, liquorice, touch of cocoa and roast. Flavour is medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. More like a Belgian Strong Ale than an Imperial Porter. Not too impressed with this one, okay-ish sipper, but a big style fail to say the least. This was really not what I was in the mood for considering the claim that this is an Imperial Porter.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet, full bodied. Roasty. Chocolate. Slightly alcoholic. Friendly, not too complex.

Joda, bra, men for søt og for mye kornbitterhet for min smak. Litt alkoholisk. litt "over the top". Nok med en. Støvete smak. Oksidert? Uff

Thanks to tderoeck. 330 ml. bottle sampled post Billie’s Beer Festival Day 1. Black, mocha head. Nose is too varnish, harsh crude alcoholic. Thin roasted crude alcoholic, boozy, varnish, plastic, bitter roast, burned, way too crude.

Black with dark head. Aroma is initially very alcoholic but tones down after a while to become a bit woody and sweet. Flavour has sweet woody dryness too. Fairly rich. Elements of brown sugar and liquorice.
