The radiant copper-orange hue and rocky, off-white head of our traditional Märzen-style lager comes from generous amounts of Munich malt. Caramel malt aromas complement the German lager yeast’s slightly floral aroma. Mt. Hood hops balance the substantial malt body, while the lager yeast adds a subtlety to the flavor, making this a great rendition of a classic German lager. Prost!

Bottled at SBWF. Clear amber, small head. Caramelly nose with some bread and grass. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded oily mouthfeel. Bready with notes of caramel. Fairly low bitterness.

Seriously underrated. Easy drinking approachable Marzen that has decent malt back bone with good bready character. Actually fairly authentic and enjoyable though still a bit of beer on training wheels compared to stuff in Munich.

Bottle. Toffee malt and hay aroma. Amber with large off-white head. Mildly sweet light toffee malt and hay flavor. Nice balance - not too sweet. Body on the light side. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Small, off-white head. Clear amber body. Aroma has notes of caramel, burnt malt, earthiness. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter and strongly vinegary. Light to medium body with a slightly sticky texture. The beer has a strong burnt taste along with a vinegar-like finish. Undrinkable. Down the drain it went.

Yep, perhaps not fresh, but here goes. Not much aroma, perhaps a little floral. Looks good in the glass, strams of viscous carbonation and all in an orange brown drink. First taste is a little malty strong fer sher. Not much CO2, but fizzes a bit with a creamy background. Can’t get over the leather saddle thing. Quite riviting, man. Tell the man its swaggerring stuff. Difficult on the finish at times. Yep, has some old ale character. Hey, I’m a lager loverl, too!

Bottle. Pours a deep orangish amber with a dense, but thin head. Aromas are light and full of sweet malt and grain dust. An odd malt presence dominates the palate... kind of a honey/brown sugar/toffee mix-up with a little bit of a grassy edge to it at times. This is fairly sweet and darker than most in the style, but I kinda like it.

Bready malts, fruity sweetness, light caramel, and some herbal notes in the aroma. Flavor is similar with the fruit and biscuit malts really carrying it. The herbal notes fade away in the flavor. Decent brew, but maybe a bit too sweet.

bottle - Pours hazy orange with a really thin head. It has a light malt aroma and tastes of caramel malt, a touch of hops, and a slight sourness that didn’t seem to fit. It’s light bodied and underwhelming.
