0.75l 2018 bottle, enormous thanks heavy and Erna for sharing! Pitch black body, off white head. Complex aroma, coffee, raisins, dark bread, liiiiiightly tart, walnut liqueur, interesting. Taste... Mead, chocolate, cocoa, sweet, smooth, light alcohol notes - well hidden for the ABV, sweetish dry figs, light roast in the mild, sweetish finish, quite well balanced. Eff it. I like this a lot!

Keg at Gist, Brussels June 2018. Pours clear dark brown towards black with a small beige head. Aroma: soft roast, coffee, nice, light ash. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, roast, lots of dark chocolate, some coffee, light acidic. Medium to full body, with light carbonation.

On tap at the Drunken Duck Birroteca. Metalic aroma. Black with beige head. Roasted, malty, chocolate, sweet, not easy to drink. Medium bodied. Kind of falling apart.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pitch black, with limited brownish foam. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, cocoa beans. Body is fairly dense, with very minimal carbonation. Taste is minimally sweet, some interesting bitterness, and quite some sourness. Finish is not particularly long.

F: thin, tanned, quick gone. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, chocolate, cocoa, bit tobacco, caramel. T: malty, vinous, cocoa, chocolate, bit tobacco, medium to full body, medium carbonation, lacks some more complexity, so so enjoyed, sample from 75cl bottle @ RBBSG 10/2018.

06/10/2018 - sampled from bottle on RBBSG 2018 Black colour, tanned lacing. Nose is roasted malts, nail polish. Taste is roasted malts, hint of caramel, than harsh roasted malts and alcohol burn.

Thank you Rubin77! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2018. Black. Nose is soy sauce, mocha, too roasted. Taste is herbal soy sauce, umami, herbal, low oxidation, too harsh roast, bitter, bit thin, herbal & some umami. Too much lingering roast, unbalanced, subpar.

Taste: lots of alcohol, roasted, lots of dark chocolate, bit acidic, ok stuff. Aftertaste: bitter, nice, bit sweetish, lots of alcohol, roasted, some coffee.

Sampled from bottle @ late RBBSG. Opaque black color, average sized brown color. Smell and taste malts, roast, dark malts, malt bitter, bitter. Maybe a bit earthy as well. Hmm ok. Nothing special and quite high ABV.
