Fruit forward without being overbearing, which is good, but the acidity from the adjuncts makes this pint sour-adjacent, not quite bursting with IPA goodness. Berries and guava dominate the front, while the back end quickly dries out, adding a touch of vanilla to a rather tame, modestly bitter fade. Eh.
Gold pour thin foam. Pineapple lemon nose. Pineapple lemon mango flavor with citrus zest palate

Pounder: Honey and grapefruit nose. Cloudy amber, medium head, little retention. Lemon and pineapple, new plastic finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Not nearly as complex as expected.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a dense, straw raw honey coloured body with a thin faint white head that fades quickly and is at most just a centimetre tall. Aroma of lactose, caster sugar, oranges, curacao, light grass, hay and a softer floral finish with some chamomile and jasmine blossoms as well. Medium-bodied; Strong lactose and large malt backbone that shows some light earth, dash of grass and a lot of the fruity notes, but they aren't really tropical fruits, more like blood oranges, grapefruit and kumquat - pure citrus notes. Aftertaste shows a robust balance of tons of hops and bitterness with an equal amount of robust deep malts and a smooth but pungent lactose and sweet note that finishes this off nicely. Overall, a nice and enjoyable beer that hits the right notes and especially the hop bitterness, with a great balance that has a pleasant amount of lactose and sweetness, especially at the end. I sampled this pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$4,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-September-2019.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 5/2019. Pours opaquely hazy medium golden/yellow/light green color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy red raspberry, passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seeds, mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberry, passion fruit, pink guava, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy red raspberry, passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seeds, mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of red raspberry, passion fruit, pink guava, fruit skin/seeds, mandarin orange, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberry, passion fruit, pink guava, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness, and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no astringent hop/fruit flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, fairly resinous/rindy, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an excellent fruited milkshake NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft and not aggressive. Great Galaxy, Pacific Jade, Mosaic, and Styrian Dragon profile. Very juicy, vibrant and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit; with a nice lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. A little more bitter/drying than I would have expected, but no complaints otherwise.

16 oz. Aroma is guava, pineapple, seedy berries. Pours hazy yellow-orange with an off white head with decent retention. Taste is lightly bittersweet with tropical fruit flavors; finishes really dry.
