It's the witching hour on a dark, moonless night. You're huddled with friends around a campfire in the woods far from town, taking turns telling stories. Someone has just recounted a particularly eerie tale about an encounter with a ghost, insisting it was true. You sit quietly, staring into the flames, reluctant to let on that it actually made your skin crawl. Then someone in the shadows clears his throat and begins to speak: "Did you hear the one about... the magic valley?"

(Bottle) Pale orange colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with guava, mango, orange, pineapple and some pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of guava, pineapple, citrus, orange, passion-fruit and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with lots of tropical fruit. Very nice.

Light orange with a thin, foamy white head. Aroma full of fermenting oranges. Taste is mildly bitter with sour undertones, particularly at the finish, where a slightly medicinal sweetness jumps in to wrap things up. The medium body is too fizzy. Dry with a hint of booze at the end. Drinkable but flawed.

Bottle @ home. Unclear yellow color, decent sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, fruity. Flavor is lightly malts, fruity hops, some notes that remind me of tangerine mixed with nectarine. Maybe that's guava then? I don't really know guava so could be. A little less pleasant after pouring in the second half of the bottle it seems. More sharp, citruspeel. Somewhat sharp bitter notes as well. Hmm in the end, isn't this just another one of the hyped up hazy crap? In any case, not very good as a DIPA imo.

Bottled 330ml (Boxbeers)
Murky yellow colour, medium-sized white head. Lots of particles floating. Strong aroma of overriped tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit with guava twist. Medium-bodied. Riped tropical fruits, mango, citrus, passionfruit with guava notes. Piney hops lurking. A bit of dankyness and even light hopburn. Fruity mess.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/9/2018. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small head.Has a slightly dank citrus and tropical fruit. Taste wise, it's sweet and fruit forward, with a good dash of guava. It finishes with a nice, powerful slightly tart and spicy hop kick, providing nice balance. Comes across as quite substantial, perhaps even bigger than its 7.7%. Medium to full bodied with slightly prickly carbonation. A bit unusual and very tasty. I really liked this one.

330 ml bottle from MBC, beer club bottle 226 of 600, bb 03/07/2019.
Golden, medium hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of lemon, guava, pineapple, mango, vanilla.
Tastes quite similar,
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dry, moderate bitter, a bit sweet, mineralic, fruity, hoppy, a bit piney, with lingering tropical fruits.

Nice one. Very fruity throughout, with well integrated guava and a good dryness towards the finish. A bit simple maybe, while fresh to drink. Nothing outstanding, but well drinkable.
