Black as the darkest night this one. Fine beige head also Good intensity in the aroma. Vinous and chocolate The nitro stuff did not do this one any good A beer at 11% that feels thin…..not good Vinous, chocolate, toffee and fruity flavor Nothing wrong with the flavor or aroma. But this one will not be a hit. Felt quite thin on the palate [Bottle from Vinmonopolet Nydalen in Oslo, Norway] Brewery #2066

Pour is a dark brown, almost black with a small tan head. For bring on nitro I expected a much creamier head. Aroma is nice. Plums and raisin with dark candi sugar. Flavor is loads of dark fruit with candi sugar anda little backes chocolate at the end. The nitro makes an appearance here with a super creamy mouthfeel. Everything you are looking for in a quad is here and maybe the nitro makes it a bit thin but this was plenty flavorful.

Luppoli e Uva Varese 10.05.19

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter søt engelsk lakris, melasse og mørke frukter. Fyldig. Mer salt lakris i smak, men fortsatt søt. Noe karamell. Lett bitter mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Middels lang.

3 February 2019. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Hazy dark brown-black with a lasting, frothy, yellowish beige head; lots of lacing. Aroma of frangipane, candied plum & orange, 'orangettes', vanilla, licorice, aniseed, amaretto. Taste is medium fruity sweet, candied plum, raisin & orange peel with a caramelly edge, orange peel initiates a light herbal bitterness, notes of green tea with sugar, faint spicy licorice & pure aniseed even. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering cookie, caramel, and warming amaretto-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft to flat carbonation. Smooth stuff, balanced.
