Hazy dark brown with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of bourbon, ripe apple, banana & plum, licorice, caramel, herbal hops, sweet tea. It tastes medium to heavy caramelly sweet, sugar & syrup in the back, and light herbal bitter. More (herbal) hops in the finish, but dominated by caramel malt and a warming dash of bourbon alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Very tasty, albeit on the sweet side.

Tap. Clear brown color with beige head. Aroma is spicy, rosemary/thyme, raisins. Taste is whisky, spices. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Ok.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled @ ZBF 2018. Dark brown, tanned head. Nose is spoiled fruit, dark berry compote. Taste is spoile fruit, fruit compote, overripe spoiled, dark fruit, chocolate, soap. Meh.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2018. A clear orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, liquorice, some vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, sweet red fruits, caramel, liquorice.

Pours dark caramelly brown; small white head. Smell is banana, some cloves, caramel, bit earthy, some Sugar. Taste is sharp, sugary, caramel, dark malts, whickey ( bit booze ) sweet, rather simple. OK

The newest Wilderen beer, a whisky infused (so with whisky added rather than aged on whisky barrels) version of Cuvée Clarisse. Draught at Botteltje in Ostend - the opposite side of Flanders from where it's made. Creamy, regularly shaped, moussy, beige-ish off-white head, hazy deep burgundy brown robe with ruby glow. Aroma of stewed plums, caramel sauce, brown sugar, brownies, whisky, candied dates, raisins, banana, honey, chewing gum. Sweet taste, banana and raisin impressions, light fresh fig-like sourish note, medium carbonation, full and supple mouthfeel, honeyish residual sugary sweetness on top of a caramelly, lightly nutty malt sweet middle; some herbal hops in the end but more pepperiness from the whisky, adding a strong boozy glow without becoming too astringent or obnoxious. Decent like the regular version, clearly inspired by what Gouden Carolus did a few years ago, but I think actually aging this on whisky barrels would have delivered a more satisfying result.

Bottle from Deconinck, Vichte. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of wood, dried fruit, sweet caramel, brown sugar, some whisky. Very well balanced, sweet, woody and some fruitiness. Nice beer!
